View and search through your exported Skype conversations

Only messages.json files from Skype exports are supported. Loads data to your local browser DB - IndexedDB.

How to export your Skype chat history:

  1. Sign in to the Skype Export page
  2. Select "Conversations" under "Request a copy of your files and chat history"
  3. Click "Submit request" and wait for the export to be processed
  4. Once ready, download your export from the "Available Exports" section
  5. Extract the downloaded archive and locate the messages.json file
  6. Load the messages.json file using the button above

Local Database Storage

Your chat history is stored in your browser's local database for improved performance:

  • Faster loading of large conversations
  • Improved search functionality
  • Data persists between sessions
  • All data stays on your device - nothing is sent to any server

Your data is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to any server.
